I don’t know about you but life seems pretty hectic at times and it can be hard to carve out even a few minutes to yourself. Even small slivers of “off” time, like waiting for the bus or walking to work become opportunities to check e-mails or return calls. Sound familiar?

A Cup Of Tea

The old adage goes that a cup of tea solves everything. I’ve long been an advocate for knocking back a brew in times of trouble! When Jing Tea got in touch a couple weeks back, I was excited! I’ll confess now that initially I was a bit worried about brewing the tea correctly. Who hasn’t completely ballsed up a green tea in their time and ended up with bitter water? Surely it’s not just me! Luckily, Jing have made their tea sets easy to use.

Jing kindly sent me a tea infuser, some jasmine pearls and an hourglass. One of these tea sets would make a great gift – the packaging is gorgeous! Watching the tea brew and waiting for the hourglass is a strangely relaxing experience. There’s nothing you can do but wait for the infuser to do it’s thing! I particularly like the ease of use. The infuser section sits in the lid, meaning there’s no faffing around with wet tea leaves post-brewing. Every detail has been thought of – and the tea tastes INCREDIBLE in the handblown glass.Β Let me know about your tea habits and what your preferred brew is below. I’m currently lusting after the Yunnan Gold and the Matcha set!

  1. I think that this is so true… somehow, a cup of tea solves a lot πŸ™‚ My grandmother used to have her tea in the morning and in the afternoon, so I am very fond of “tea memories” πŸ™‚ Jing Tea sounds good, you are right, that sometimes we end up with hot bitter water πŸ™‚ I now want to have a cup of tea πŸ™‚ Hope you have a great Saturday and weekend!
